MERCY AIDHumanitarian aid projectMercyBiz is humanitarian aid projects on a voluntary basis. We don´t have employers, nor permanent expenses and we don´t spend money for advertising. Everybody involved are volunteers. The aid – supported by several private persons and firms in particularly Denmark – consist in helping the exposed group of inhabitants and elderly by establishing places of work in the poor areas among others is Ukraine. Several kinds of productions have been started and are now exported to a number of European contries. The trucks, delivering the products are loaded with humanitarian aid as a returned cartload. Our strategi is helping to self-helpWe believe, that the best way to help happens in those cases, where the local inhabitants will become educated and be encouraged to work for improving their standard of living. That kind of help will last. Give a man a fish – and he will be able to eat! Give him a fishing-boat – and he can provide for his whole family! In Ukraine the municipal and the state county of Lutsk are co-operating together. It is the leader of logistics and distribution Aleksander Pervanchuk, who is responsible for the distribution. The co-operation with the municipal of Lutsk has given good results. They are very careful and they show great credibility and integrity. We also check every sending, that the goods reach the designated people. MercyBiz was founded by Poul Dalgaard and Tommi Thomsen, Denmark, in 1999.
